"The key skills of introductory journalism courses - research, critical
thinking, organizing, and clear expression - are also the key skills that the
university tries, but often fails, to teach all students as part of their
liberal education. Indeed journalists have refined these skills to a much
higher degree than have people in many other disciplines." Betty Medsger, Winds of Change
I'm extremely impressed, and a little scarily amazed, by the amount of info you dredged up about me in fairly short order from the comfort of your keyboard. The fact you found the NBC Creative Youtube channel shows you did some digging--because that's the group at the station in charge of creating our commercials and "promos" for our stories. Love the commentary beneath each clip and it's interesting to see what you posted and how you interpreted it in your caption, e.g., the Anchoring While Pregnant video. And I absolutely love the cautionary tale about "the Google." Perfection.
